Why come to Crè Seren?

Would you like to discover the natural beauty, the history and the traditions of the Susa Valley?

If you don’t know our Valley at all and if you simply enjoy relaxing, nature and history, a stay at our Holiday Farm will allow you to discover just how much the Susa Valley has to offer.

Here you will simply be spoiled for choice!

From simple walks through to mountain hiking, “Vie Ferrate” or full-on mountain climbing, our local mountains offer a wide range of options.

If you prefer cycling, you can ride along flat roads or tackle a few more challenging uphill climbs, ride down some of our spectacular mule paths or take on the Downhill trails.

If you’re a history lover, our Valley has been inhabited since prehistoric times and throughout Roman times, as demonstrated by Augustus’ Arch and the Susa Arena. During the Middle Ages numerous Castles and Fortified Residences were built in this area. The last War left behind a number of fortifications and traces that are still very evident to this day on our mountain peaks, not to mention the large number of excellently preserved religious buildings in every town and village in this area, from simple chapels and shrines all the way through to impressive Cathedrals and Abbeys.

The local traditions are still very deeply rooted in many of the local towns and villages and Giaglione is a prime example: our “Spadonari” or “sword throwers” and our “Priore” or “prioresses” are a main feature of all our local festivals.
